I can only hope that everyone truly honors our veterans, whether they made it back home or lost their lives in combat. Our veterans deserve to be honored each and every day. I can only hope that people support our troops and their families in times of hardship, just as everyone has my family. Scotty is truly my hero, even now moreso than he was before.

We lived next door to him for several years and when he was killed in the war in Iraq it hurt. I felt like a part of me was gone. So hard to believe, but then, only God takes the best with him when he needs them. My prayers are with the Daniels family for their lost but heavens gain. Thank you for sharing Bubby with me and my children, Tonya, TJ and David. You are in my prayers.

Comments:Another website honoring a former Glen Alum resident, Larry Perry, can be accessed by going to Google and entering his name. He died in Viet Nam in 1969. He was my brother. Comments: Do you have any comments? Around the world, British Commonwealth, Eastern Bloc, Asian and North American, the biggest growing slice of voters is in the non traditional areas. And the fastest growth area in non establishment politics (all over the world, including the Phillipines......) is in 'independent veterans organizations.' In the States, especially in Dixie/the Ole South, the veteransparty.us is officially a year old and has a major contender for the open federal senate seat in FLorida. (2+2=5?????) While Kerry/Edwards and King George II solicit reluctant active duty, former military, and their loved ones other parties are 'getting in on the action'. The Post Pat Buchanan Reform Party of Ross Perot (nee: Ralph Nader) is developing 'Veterans Investigation Committees'. Veterans world around are 'sick and tired of being sick and tired'.

Comments:You have established a moving tribute to all veterans. I have four brothers who served in the Army. My father was critically wounded on Iwo Jima and spent the rest of his life in a wheelchair.My uncle,a tail gunner on a B-17,in a crew of 10,was shot down in Europe.No parachutes observed. No bodies ever recovered. I served 27 1/2 years in the Air Force and retired on 1 January 1983.

We have just got word about my husbands brother that was killed in June 1968 and are hoping to get an answer on his remains. They have found the crash site and possible remains of Jack.
